Royalty programme
In an effort to enhance its numismatic programme, the Central Bank of Barbados has partnered with the World Coin Association and the Scottsdale Mint to distribute commemorative coins.
The Association and the Mint commission coins to commemorate subjects of international interest. They design, supply and distribute the coins on behalf of the Bank.
All issues are legal tender in Barbados and can be redeemed for cash at the Central Bank of Barbados at face value as stated on the coins.
