Since 1981 the Central Bank of Barbados’ Annual Review Seminar has provided a stimulating discussion forum for economists, academics and practitioners in the areas of economics, finance, and related areas.

Conference Theme
Almost a decade since the genesis of the global economic crisis, Caribbean countries are still grappling with the effects of low growth and fiscal pressures in an uncertain global environment. This year’s theme, “Identifying and Capitalising on the Engines of Economic Prosperity in the Caribbean”, underscores the reality that transforming viable growth opportunities into sustained economic benefits is critical to ensure lasting prosperity for the Caribbean region.
