The Central Bank of Barbados is aware that individuals and organisations might on occasion wish to use reproductions of Barbadian currency for educational, promotional or other purposes and will accommodate this where possible.
The Bank must however ensure that the integrity of Barbadian currency is protected at all times and will therefore not allow reproductions that can be misrepresented as or easily confused with genuine currency, nor will it allow reproductions to be used in a manner that can bring disrepute to the Central Bank of Barbados, the government of Barbados, or the country and its people.
The following regulations represent the minimum that is required for permission to be granted for the reproduction of Barbadian currency. Compliance with these regulations is not a guarantee that permission will be granted.
