Statistics

Welcome to the Statistics page of the Central Bank of Barbados, housing a wealth of statistical information compiled from original and secondary sources across the various sectors of the economy. CBBWEBSTATS are a series of webpages fully integrated with the Bank’s official website and offering a more seamless and intuitive experience than its predecessors 1 . The data can be downloaded in Excel format through a series of pre-formatted tables. The pages inherit the functionality of the overall website, allowing for an ability to search the Statistics pages. Further, each release/update is reflected in the Bank’s “Statistics News”. The Terms of Use of CBBWEBSTATS are reflected below, please be sure to review the same. All queries related to CBBWEBSTATS should be sent to statistics@centralbank.org.bb.

Since 1974 the Central Bank of Barbados has disseminated statistics to its external publics through various publications: its quarterly economic press releases, its annual reports, the former monthly Economic and Financial Statistics (EFS), the former Annual Statistical Digest (ASD), as well as other period reports. In 2010 the Bank transitioned the EFS and ASD publications to downloadable form – the Online Statistics Database. Based largely on feedback from the public the Bank is now transitioning further to CBBWEBSTATS.
