The Central Bank of Barbados will toast its long service employees at a grand ceremony at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre on May 14, 2011.
47 central bankers will be rewarded and awarded for service ranging between 10 and 35 years. Among those receiving awards will be Deputy Governor, Cleviston Haynes, an employee of 30 years.
In a tribute to the awardees, HR Director Janis Marville commended them for their dedication and unstinting service to the institution, stating that during their tenure they would have served as an inspiration to their colleagues.
The ceremony will feature video tributes to all awardees as well as performances by Dance Strides, vocalists Rhea Borman and Nikita Browne and saxophonist Ricky Niles.
