The Central Bank of Barbados wishes to advise that the Ministry of Transport, Works, and Water Resources (MTWW) and Infra Construction will be carrying out road works in the vicinity of its headquarters, the Tom Adams Financial Centre, from Wednesday, May 22 to Sunday, May 26, 2024 between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. each day.
During that period, there will be partial closures and diversions affecting Church Street, Garnet Street (the turnoff leading to the Bank from Crumpton Street), Church Street Minor, and Polgreen Alley (the road behind Glassesco).
As a result, there will be limited access to the Bank’s facilities, including the Frank Collymore Hall. However, patrons attending the National Youth Awards at the Frank Collymore Hall on Sunday, May 26, are not expected to be affected as the MTWW and Infra expect to complete their operation on Sunday morning.
The Bank apologises for any inconvenience these road works might cause.
