Call for Papers ""Modelling Small States: Essays in Honour of Professor Roland Craigwell""
Edited by DeLisle Worrell, Darrin Downes and Winston Moore
Professor Roland Craigwell was one of the most prolific writers on the challenges faced by Caribbean economies and developing economies more broadly. His long-standing goal was to bring empirical rigour to the study of Caribbean economies. His early work largely focussed on modelling the monetary and fiscal aspects of Caribbean economies such as the determinants of external public debt, the causal relationship between taxes and expenditure and public deficit and private consumption. Over time his interests broadened, and he attracted a wide range of collaborators, students and associates, which resulted in studies covering all aspects of economics.
Papers are now invited for a new book titled “Modelling Small States: Essays in Honour of Professor Roland Craigwell”.
The book is meant to document and disseminate experiences, approaches, methods and projects that utilise quantitative techniques to address problems being faced by small developing states.
The deadline for submissions of abstracts is January 15, 2015 and papers are due by April 30, 2015. The book is to be launched in July 2015. Abstracts should be submitted to Roxanne Hinds at Roxanne.hinds@centralbank.org.bb.
