Given the vast amount of financial and other resources being invested in the Caribbean region, this study examines whether the CDB funding to its borrowing member countries (as a single entity) has contributed significantly to the overall reduction of poverty. More specifically, it provides a macro econometric analysis of the CDB funding on overall poverty levels in the Caribbean and outlines the theoretical underpinnings of the likely impact of injecting additional funds in a particular investment.
