Dr. Alwyn Jordan is Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Barbados. As part of his role, he has responsibility for the Bank’s Research and Economic Analysis and Bank Supervision departments and is Chair of the National Payments System Council (NPSC).
His research interests include monetary policy issues, macro-prudential policy developments, currency regimes, and assessing the economic and financial impact of climate change on small open economies.
Alwyn holds a BSc. Economics and Accounting from the University of the West Indies, an MSc. Finance and Economics from the University of Southampton, and a PhD. Economics from the University of Reading, United Kingdom.
