Initiated by the Central Bank of Barbados, the Get On Board with the BiMPay Roadshow is taking to the roads throughout November 2026. We are bringing fast, zero-hassle, instant digital payment setup directly to village shops across Barbados.
Whether you are a shop owner looking to modernise your business or a customer wanting to support local merchants, discover everything you need to know about our mobile unit visits, entry requirements, and cash prizes below!
Open to qualifying small businesses and village shops.
Participants must be 18 years or over.
Operators must hold an active online banking account with a commercial bank or credit union in Barbados.
BDS $6,000 Grand Prize: All eligible businesses visited get the chance to win the grand prize.
BDS $500 Weekly Interim Prizes: Each week, one business visited and activated that week wins $500.
Activation Required: Businesses must have BiMPay fully activated to qualify for entry.
Existing Merchants Eligible: Businesses already onboarded prior to our Road Show visit remain fully eligible, provided all other entry criteria are met.
One Entry Per Business: Each eligible business receives one official entry into the applicable draws.
Verification: Winners are subject to final verification and may be required to provide supporting documentation to confirm eligibility. By participating, business owners agree to the use of their likeness in Central Bank of Barbados media and promotional materials.
When the BiMPay Mobile Unit pulls up to your store, our team will handle setup and registration. Have the following items ready to ensure a smooth setup:
Smartphone or Tablet: A mobile device connected to an active phone number or email address.
Online Banking Credentials: Access to your existing online banking or credit union platform.
Identification / Business Info: A valid photo ID.
Open to qualifying small businesses and entrepreneurs in Barbados.
Participants must have activated online banking with their respective financial institution.
Businesses must complete the required BiMPay onboarding and activation steps to qualify.
Businesses already onboarded when visited may enter the competition.
Winners will be subject to final verification and may be required to provide information or documentation to confirm eligibility.
Participants must agree to the use of their likeness across all media.
The Bank reserves the right to verify entries and disqualify entries that do not meet the promotion requirements.
Full terms and conditions, including the interim prize draw schedule and entry procedures, will be issued before the promotion begins.
Central Bank Staff are not eligible for this competition.
Participants will be responsible for any transfers of the prize.
Winners must collect their prizes.
