How to Get Your BiMPay E-Wallet Token

When you use the BiMPay app, no money is stored in it. Rather the e-wallet links to your bank or credit union account and funds go to and come from that account. If you didn’t previously have a bank account, your funds will be stored in a custodian account at Sagicor. 

To link your account – whether your existing account or your new custodian one - you need a token. he way you get it varies depending on your financial institution,

Here’s how to get your token from each financial institution. 

N.b. Scotiabank and AffinityPlus Credit Union are not currently using the e-wallet but should be doing so within 30 and 60 days post-launch, respectively.

Barbados Public Workers Co-operative Credit Union Ltd

1. Log in to Co-optima online banking or the mobile app 
2. Select Transfers
3. Go to Co-optima Pay 
4. Select Manage e-Wallet
5. Record and verify the information shown, especially your name, account number, national registration number, email address, and mobile number.
6. Contact the credit union if any of the information is incorrect before attempting to link your account to the BiMPay e-wallet. Select Accept if the information is correct and proceed with the following steps.
7. Review the User Acceptance notice and select Accept
8. Copy the token to your clipboard or email it to yourself
9. Open the BiMPay Wallet app and start the registration process.
10. Enter the token when prompted.
11. Complete the verification process to connect your account to BiMPay.

CIBC Caribbean

1. Go to menu on the online banking or the mobile app and click on “link to BiMPay
2. Select the account to be linked and click ‘Get Token/Access Code’
3. Complete verification when prompted - including a one-time verification code if required 
4. Copy the token/access code shown
5. Open the BiMPay App and enter the code there to complete the link

City of Bridgetown (COB) Co-operative Credit Union

1. Log in to your COB online banking account at COB's website. Your Online ID is the same as your Member Number. 
2. Click the Settings wheel located in the top right-hand corner of the screen. 
3. Select Token Settings from the drop-down menu. 
4. Choose the Deposits Account you wish to link to your BiMPay Wallet and click Add. 
5. Once the correct account has been selected, click Submit on the confirmation page. 
6. A success page will appear displaying your account number and BiMPay Token. 
7. Copy the token. 
8. Download and open the BiMPay Wallet app. 
9. Paste the token into the app during registration. 
10. Complete the remaining registration and verification steps to activate your wallet.

First Citizens

1. Log in to First Citizens Online Banking.
2. Select Payment Services from the main menu
3. Select the Token option.
4. Click Generate Token
5. Copy the token that is displayed.
6. A token number will be generated and sent to the email address registered with your First Citizens account
7. Paste the token into the registration screen.
8. Complete the remaining verification steps to link your account to BiMPay.

RBC

1. Log in to RBC Digital Banking 
2. Open the menu and select BiMPay token from the list.
3. The Link an Account page will appear. Select your applicable account from the dropdown, then carefully review and accept the Terms and Conditions.
4. Tap Submit to request your BiMPay Token.
5. Once your BiMPay Token appears, it will remain valid for 15 minutes. Copy and 

paste it into the BiMPay App to link your RBC account.

Republic Bank

1. Send an email to Republic Bank's support centre requesting a BiMPay token. 
2. Ensure that the email is sent from the same email address that is registered with the bank. 
3. A Republic Bank representative will contact you to complete a Know Your Customer (KYC) verification check. 
4. Once verification is successful, your BiMPay token will be emailed to the registered email address on file. 
5. Download and open the BiMPay Wallet app. 
6. Enter or paste the token during registration. 
7. Complete the remaining verification steps, including confirming your phone number and email address. 

Important: If your email address is not on file with Republic Bank, you will first need to update your records with the bank. This may require a visit to a branch before they can issue a token.

Sagicor Bank

1. Log in to Sagicor Online Banking or the mobile app.
2. Navigate to the BiMPay section.
3. Select Generate BiMPay Token.
4. Open the BiMPay Wallet app and begin registration.
5. Enter the token when prompted.
6. Complete the identity verification process.
