In this keynote address, Dr., The Most Honourable Kevin Greenidge, F.B. Governor of the Central Bank of Barbados outlines the macroeconomic outlook for Barbados and translates it into clear, practical financial priorities for small and medium-sized enterprises.
The presentation reviews the economy’s 2025 performance, assesses the 2026 baseline and key risks, and highlights the buffers that continue to support stability. It then focuses on what matters most for SMEs: cash discipline, working capital management, margin protection, access to credit, and strategic financial leadership.
The event, “Strategic Financial Leadership for SME Growth in Barbados,” was hosted by the ACCA in collaboration with Institute of Chartered Accountants of Barbados, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of the Caribbean, and the Small Business Association.
