Central Bank of Barbados Hosting Public Event in Celebration of World Health Day
The Central Bank of Barbados today announced that it will be hosting a public event as it joins with the rest of the world in commemorating World Health Day on Wednesday, April 7, 2010.
The Bank has organized a lunch–time line dance session for its staff to which it is inviting members of the public. The line dance session will take place on the Terrace of the Frank Collymore Hall from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m..
The Bank’s Financial Controller and dance aficionado, Michael Carrington, will serve as instructor, and he is encouraging the public to join the Bank's management and staff as they celebrate World Health Day 2010. The theme of this year’s celebration is “Urbanism and Healthy Living”: “1000 cities, 1000 lives”.
