From Monday, June 15, 2020, the Central Bank of Barbados will once again be open to the public from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday to Friday.
This return to regular operating hours follows the full re-opening of businesses and the lifting of the weekday curfew announced by Government on June 11.
All persons visiting the Bank will be required to wear a mask, have their temperature taken, and answer screening questions. Anyone who refuses to comply will not be allowed to enter the Bank.
The Bank confirmed that while it has reverted to pre-COVID operating hours, members of the public who wish to submit their forms to the Bank electronically can continue to do so.
Completed exchange control application forms, along with supporting documentation, can be sent to: foreignexchange@centralbank.org.bb. Once processed, the forms will also be returned via email. Treasury-related documents can be sent to bankingops@centralbank.org.bb, while investment managers should email investmentunit@centralbank.org.bb.
