Effective immediately, individuals and businesses requesting exchange rates for Customs and Excise-related matters should do so, accompanied by the related documentation, via email, to bankingops@centralbank.org.bb. At the same time, the Bank will continue to post select interest rates on its website.
The Central Bank of Barbados issued these instructions as part of its ongoing efforts to reduce face-to-face contact during the COVID-19 outbreak. Last week, the Bank issued similar instructions for exchange control applications and investment-related correspondence.
