Central Bank of Barbados Governor Dr. Kevin Greenidge will participate in a discussion on Monetary and Financial Policies in Washington, DC on Thursday, April 13, 2023.
Pablo García, Deputy Governor, Central Bank of Chile; Leonardo Villar, Governor, Central Bank of Colombia; and Álvaro González Ricci, President of the Monetary Board, Bank of Guatemala are the other speakers at the Inter-American Development Bank's Regional Policy Dialogue at the 57th Meeting of the Network of Central Banks and Finance Ministries.
The speakers will examine the global banking sector turmoil following the collapse of Credit Suisse and Silicon Valley Bank and the impact of this volatility on their countries’ financial sectors. They will also look at the main risks to financial stability and share their views and expectations on the taming of global inflation.
