For the first time is its 48-year history, the Central Bank of Barbados is issuing a limited-edition circulation coin, and using the occasion to pay attribute to the island’s essential workers.
The launch event will feature remarks from the Honourable Mia Amor Mottley, Prime Minister of Barbados; Central Bank Governor Cleviston Haynes; Barbados’ Chief Medical Officer (Ag.), Dr. Kenneth George; and Jerosha Small, an essential worker.
