The way people in the Caribbean pay for goods and services is the focus of a survey being conducted by central banks across the region.
The survey, which can be found on the Central Bank of Barbados’ website, closes on October 25, 2019.
In an interview with the Central Bank of Barbados’ Senior Communications Officer, Sherri Bishop, Darrin Downes, the Bank’s Deputy Director of Research and Economic Analysis, explains why Caribbean central banks are conducting the survey, the nature of the information they are trying to collect, and how that information will be used.
