Register Now for the 41st Annual Review Seminar

General registration is now open for the Central Bank of Barbados’ 41st Annual Review Seminar, which takes place online July 27-30, 2021.

During the four-day event, whose 2021 theme is “Pursuing Resilience in the Shadow of COVID: Overcoming the Pandemic’s Economic Fallout”, economists and other researchers will share their work in a range of areas including:

  • Economic Growth and Human Development Beyond 2020: Reimagining the Future
  • Promoting and Protecting Natural Resources and the Environment
  • Monetary and Financial Sector Issues: Promoting Viability Through Innovation
  • Efficiencies in the Public Sector as a Catalyst for Sustainable Growth
  • Perspectives on Openness: Sustainable Engagement for Small Open Economies
  • Fiscal and Debt Dynamics in Times of Uncertainty

           The opening day of the seminar will also feature an address from Central Bank Governor Cleviston Haynes and a keynote panel discussion on the topic “Rebuilding Economies for the Future: Opportunities for Resilience through Diversification”.
