This paper seeks to compare compilation procedures for Barbados, Belize and Guyana up until 1993, focusing on methods adopted and difficulties encountered, given their different situations. Definitions and conventions of BOP items are given. Background information is supplied to the present organization of the BOP compilations in the three countries. This is followed by the techniques used by these countries and some of the problems they faced in their BOP recordings.
