Due to the current volcanic ash fall, the Central Bank of Barbados will be closed to in-person business from April 12-16, 2021.
The Bank will however continue its remote operations, so the public can continue to conduct their business with us electronically.
Exchange control application forms and supporting documentation should be sent to foreignexchange@centralbank.org.bb.
Persons wishing to confirm exchange rates for Customs and Excise purposes should email their query, accompanied by the relevant documentation to bankingops@centralbank.org.bb. That address should also be used for treasury-related matters, while investment managers should send their correspondence to investmentunit@centralbank.org.bb. Securities related queries, including for BOSS bonds, should be sent to publicdebt@centralbank.org.bb
General queries should be directed to info@centralbank.org.bb
The Central Bank of Barbados’ thoughts remain with the people of our sister nation St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and we encourage all Barbadians to listen to official sources of information at this time.
