Since 1997, the Central Bank of Barbados’ sponsored the Frank Collymore Literary Endowment Awards have celebrated Barbados’ most talented writers, giving them an opportunity to showcase and be rewarded for their works.
This year’s award ceremony, the 23rd annual, features an address by noted Haiti writer Evelyne Trouillot as well as readings from the competition’s finalists, before revealing the winner of the $10,000 first prize. Watch it now.
