This paper uses co-integration and primary gap indicators to investigate and establish Jamaica’s fiscal sustainable position. The co-integration analysis applied to post 1999 quarterly data indicates that Jamaica debt position is sustainable. This is supported by the primary gap indicators which are used to determine the country’s short, medium and long term sustainable position.
