Central Bank of Barbados to Host XLIII (43rd) Annual Monetary Studies Conference
The Central Bank of Barbados and the Caribbean Centre for Money and Finance today announced that they will host the XLIII (43rd) Annual Monetary Studies Conference at the Barbados Hilton from November 15 to 18, 2011.
The theme of this year’s Conference is “Financial Architecture and Economic Prospects beyond the Crisis in the Caribbean”. Presentations will cover topical economic and financial issues.

Another highlight of the four-day conference is the hosting of the Adlith Brown Memorial Lecture at the Frank Collymore Hall on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at 7:30 p.m.
Winston Cox, former Governor of the Central Bank of Barbados and former Deputy Secretary-General, Commonwealth Secretariat will deliver this lecture. The topic of the lecture is “The International Financial Architecture and its Application in the Caribbean.”
This lecture honours the memory of the late Adlith Brown, a Caribbean regionalist, economist and Co-coordinator of the Regional Programme of Monetary Studies.
